Valentin’s Day, poema de Eduardo Cerecedo al inglés

VALENTINE’S DAY AT THE MALL TRIBUTE TO THE SOLITARY
Today is a day of love and my heart empties / empty out when looking at the dressers in the city.
There are objects, food, ice cream, chocolates, metallic balloons in various forms, red; -Announced on February 14th- also blue, silver, gold waved by such joy.
Couples walk looking for the desired gift and I without love. Like the afternoon split like a lemon by the lightning first, the thunder, the rain, the lightning has caused the light Electric does not light the stores anymore, that amplitude of darkness has overflowed the objects of the day.
So in gloom is the portrait of what I am on this date that wet begins its march of unison time. I leave the glass walls where my gift is dark like the afternoon split by lightning, now divided road with my clear shadow sometimes, that is, hollow, thin, under the cold rain of the city that I wait in one of its corners.
Where the candles wait for me to turn them on just on this day when I went to see the purchases of others.
In this moment of bitterness, I invite to those who want to know about those sites, get with the heart squeezed to the shops to know oneself alive, once again and reaffirm the emptiness of his side.
